STD Testing – How is it done?
How’s is STD Test in DTAP Express Done: STI testing is done by taking swabs and collecting body fluids. Testing for chlamydia and gonorrhoea is done with a urine sample, and/or a swab of your vagina, throat or anus.

Self STD Testing – How does it work?
- Register, complete the Self-Assessment Questionnaire, get the kit .
- Collect your sample in clinic and drop it off.
- Wait for your results via text or email and if needed, come pick up a treatment pack for yourself or your partner/s.
If your results are CLEAR, no further action will be required.
If your results show that you require further treatment, a follow up appointment at the nearest DTAP Clinic will be made for you at your next available time and date for you to consult a doctor regarding your results.
Self collected swabs are as reliable and accurate as those collected by a clinician and preferred by patients for its ease and privacy.
Rapid HIV Saliva Swab Testing ($59)
Results will be available in 20 mins. The results are accurate for all sexual episodes that occurred 90 days or more, ago.
